A family morning in the woods! We will meet at the entrance to the Cemetery on the 2300 block of Falls Street and walk the trails in the forest between the Nelson Cemetery and the rail trail. We will wander, follow the change of the season and the curiosity of the froglets, get creative with nature art and crafts, wild-crafting, and learning about nature. There will be circle time with songs, playful yoga, stories and sharing.
The program aims to deepen connections within the family and to nourish the parents as well as the children. Bring a snack and weather-appropriate outfits – extra layers and raincoats are always good!
We need seven families to sign up in order to run this program.
I choose the name frog as I wanted an animal where both parents care for their young. 10% of frog species do, and some are really cool frog dads.
