Description
This program aims to help boys reconnect to nature, discover their passions and gifts, feel supported during the challenge of our times, and learn more about themselves, nature, and others. For this darker season, we will continue with fire making and games, plus get comfortable with the dark and might also be inside at times.
Time: 3:15pm-5:45pm
Dates: Every Wednesday
Location: Nelson
Duration: 5 weeks (January 13 – Feb 10)
Price: $150 plus GST per boy. Apply for a 20% Scholarship if your family needs to.

- Storytelling
- Hiking
- Movement games (capture the flag, jugger, etc)
- Survival skills
- Firemaking
- Earth/nature honouring rituals
- Art therapy/natural earth arts (stone balancing/earth element sculpturing, mandals, etc..)
- Primitive skills
- Woodcrafting
- Fort/shelter building
- Talking circles
- Nature Meditation/Skygazing
- Nature spot journalling
- Creative sword play/Jedi training
- Music making/spoken word poetry
- Dance / body-based practices
With this program we aim to help the boys:
- Have fun and inspire their innate creativity
- Build a circle of safety and trust amidst challenging times
- Build positive self image and self-worth
- Feel supported in their lives beyond the family circle
- Build community with like minded peers and mentors
- Gain a stronger sense of self and purpose
- Reconnect with the magic of Mother Nature
- Cultivate healthy relationship to sexuality, partying, technology (and any relevant topics to the boys & families)
